From Latonia Oasis to a real refreshing

It has been a week since I resigned my pastorate at Latonia-Oasis Church of God. Have you ever felt it just time you need a break, well I did. This was not just for myself, but also my family. When I started the Oasis church it was suppose to be a church where people could be refreshed. It turned into a church where I soon needed refreshing. When the Carroll family churched merged with us, it was a great idea. However, in the last few months I could see a difference of agendas and ministries goals. Some have made false accusations. and there are plenty of rumors. I do not have the time to worry with what people think, yet I know God knows the truth. The only regrets I have, are a few people have gotten hurt and the church decided to leave the Church of God.

To the good news.... We have transfered our membership to Newport Church of God. Pastor Woolum has been very supportive of us. They asked me and Paula to join the choir. Last Sunday Night 6 people got saved. I have no doubt this is where God has sent us.

Today my wife and kids our sick....so please pray for them.

In His Service,

Steve
